Community Guidelines

TravelLog is for private memories, trusted sharing, and useful travel context. Public and shared spaces should stay respectful and safe.

Respect people and privacy

Do not post private information, precise home or hotel locations, identity documents, intimate media, or content featuring someone else without permission. Use visibility controls thoughtfully before sharing.

Be truthful

Reviews, recommendations, business responses, and public trip moments should reflect real experiences. Do not impersonate another person or business, manipulate ratings, or coordinate fake engagement.

Keep shared spaces safe

Harassment, hate, threats, sexual exploitation, graphic violence, instructions for harm, spam, scams, and illegal activity are not allowed.

Comments, mentions, and invites

Use comments, mentions, friend requests, and trip invites for relevant travel conversation. Do not use them for spam, pressure campaigns, unwanted promotion, or repeated contact after someone declines.

Business participation

Businesses must identify themselves accurately, respond professionally, and keep sponsored content separate from organic community activity. Incentivized or employee reviews must not be presented as independent traveler feedback.

Reporting and enforcement

Users can report content, profiles, ads, reviews, and businesses. TravelLog may remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, restrict business access, or preserve records when required for safety, audit, or legal reasons.
